I've read the bible more than 10 times cover to cover. The bible is amazing! It doesn't matter how often you read it there's always more to learn and more comes to light. There's really only one way to see it and hear it. You know who said that He is the way, the truth and the life."

Even the very first verse in the bible has a message that ties to the rest. There are so many levels to it, that it's far beyond natural comprehension. The names in the Royal line even gives a message. God's word is limitless.



It's sad to see people so bitter against God's word.

The name meaning is true and real, I actually researched it myself, and there is the message of Christ. I researched Cain's line too. It's pretty amazing and even gives hope.

The names from Noah's son to Abraham's father, apply now.

Division between Babylon and truth.

Even the first letter of each name has meaning.

As Jesus said, Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Genealogies in Matthew and Luke contradict each other
Verses: Matthew 1:1-17, Luke 3:23-38.

So that is your excuse? There's a purpose to everything. Perhaps the contradiction is within your own understanding.

You can always search it out with Christ. He does answer. I assure you if you are sincere.

Between David and Jesus, the only names the genealogies have in common are Shealtiel and Zerubbabel....

People make all kinds of excuses to reject God and HIS word.

The truth is in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

Luke 24:31 Suddenly, their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And at that moment he disappeared!
Luke 24:32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

This is the absolute truth.

Many conservative Bible scholars have conclude that the genealogy recorded in Luke is based on Mary's line. Matthew is recording Joseph's line.

You do know that even in the line recorded in Matthew, Joseph was not His natural father.

There's a deeper message there too. I hope that you will seek in out prayerfully in Christ.

Both gospels state explicitly that they are tracing Jesus' ancestors from Joseph's side (Matthew 1:16; Luke 3:23)

Luke always refers to Joseph whenever he talks about ancestry of David:

Luke 1:27-28
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary.

Luke 2:4
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David...

Luke has forty three generations from David to Jesus, Matthew lists only twenty eight, giving a discrepancy of fifteen generations. Assuming an average of 25 to 30 years per generation, this brings the disparity of about four centuries between the genealogies.

I watched it lol.
When God wrote the books in the Bible he had people write them in the spirit.
Sometimes you'll need different versions of the bible to get a fuller meaning of a verse.

People can read the Bible end to end countless times and they will always find something new.
Having the Holy Spirit will quicken your spiritual Knowledge of the Bible alot,Based on my experience.

And honestly Ive never did read the full book yet.
I keep rereading Books,Looking for something new,or trying to connect passages.

OP If you want to be one of those people Questioning the Bible,
read the book.study it.
Cause people like you are a dime a dozen here.Your not going to get the attention you want.

Even if you do Study the Bible,Questioning the Bible.Your not going to get much out of the books at all.
Only those who place their trust in the Lord will gain the Spiritual Knowledge they desire.
The Bible has many verses saying this.To trust in the Lord and he will give you wisdom.

That's the beauty of the Bible.It's like a safe guard.
If you question the bible,you will get what you are looking for..To deceive yourself.

I've been reading,for like a year now.When I started,I would try and place myself in the shoes of the person I was reading about.Using my common sense,logical reasoning.
But I really didn't get anywhere using that method.

I started off at ACTS then I went to MATTHEW.
After that I just placed my trust in the Lord,reading the book as it is,and started ACTS and MATTHEW all over again.

When I did that the Bible just opened up to me.Verses had deeper meanings.
God is truly amazing.How the book is written is almost like a play on words.Words to catch your mind and led you on that direction based on your current thinking.
It's hard to explain.
It's like Bible code.And you need to place trust in God to gain understanding.

The human mind is limited.Worldly knowledge is like a curse and potentially draws you away from God more and more.That's only if you trust your mind that God created rather then trust in God

1 CORINTHIANS 1:25
For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom,and the weakness of God is stronger than mans strength.


Do you have it in you to place trust in the Lord and read the bible over again?
Your likely have to do it without the Holy Spirit for a Period of time,but if you continue to trust in him you will receive the Holy Spirit.
Having the Holy Spirit is a lot more rare then people think.
There's a lot of Christians who think they have the Holy Spirit but they don't have him yet.
But there's coming a time where everybody who believes in God will receive the Holy Spirit.
This will happen before tribulation.
