On May 20, 1953, some kind of unidentified aerial craft allegedly crashed in a desert site near Kingman, Arizona. Just twenty-two days later on June 11, 1953, and 200 miles straight north on a dry lake bed east of the Fishlake National Forest an agency of the U. S. government took two dozen photographs of this large triangular feature in the dry lake bed. The triangle measured approximately 4,400 feet long and 2,700 feet wide. The nearest small town to the lakebed is Garrison, Utah. Three miles away is the U.S. Forest Services Desert Research Experimental Station known as DRES (no longer an active research station).
It is believed that within this large triangular earthen feature is buried a UFO:

Notice what looks like a drill sample test hole with tailings (tailings pile approx. 100 yards wide). There is possible survey work (CLEARLY artificial, straight-edged triangle formation) in the center of the supposed impact zone. Also notice the splatter pattern caused by the crash in the ground along the top edge of the triangle.
The crash site is 282 KM SW of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Latitude & Longitude coordinates of the triangle feature: 113W 40'29.83" by 38N 37'.

Many serious UFO investigators believe a UFO that was too large to remove is buried beneath this triangular patch, the area being given this shape by the UFO crash recovery team in order to hide as much as possible signs of the heavy impact made by the UFO. However, the area still looks significantly different to its surrounds in satellite photos and the presence of manmade marks in such an isolated area is a challenge for the UFO sceptic to explain.
Here is a 1997 TerraServer photo of the area taken from 30,000 ft: [link to terraserver-usa.com]
The site still shows remarkable detail even after 44 years of weather and erosion. Seen at low zoom, there are very suggestive signs, indicative of impact by a heavy object, of changes in the ground in the area leading up to the man-made triangle. Notice all the bright flecks indicative of sandy areas of different chemical composition that reflect different shades of light. These features of areas where the top levels of sand were stripped away by the violent impact of the UFO are absent from the surrounding region, which has more uniformity in its surface color.

We do not have to rely on just aerial photographs. Details about the dead aliens allegedly retrieved from the site given in a signed affadavit by someone claiming to have been part of the recovery team can be found at: [link to ufos.about.com]

Pretty much falls apart when you use [link to maps.google.com]

with coordinates of:

38.63172 -113.67448

Zoom in and you'll see there's nothing special going on. That's what you get when you use a crappy aerial photograph.
