So if you're on the no fly list (anyone can be put on this list for any reason no judge no jury and you can't contest it) and if you're on the list then you can't own a gun, then it's game over. Gradual confiscation through prevention of ownership.

I just watched his 'weaky address" Read the Ed on the NYT. Take note of Lynch's First Amenm. talk. Anouncement of removing guns from people on the no-fly list:

My thought. Except by private sale, gun purchases are pretty much logged by the Feds. Even those denied are logged, as wanting to purchase. No one has access to the No-Fly list except DHS agencies. Once on, you can't even find out why you are on. I wouldn't put it past him to call for gun confiscation, and place those people who have purchased firearms via the Fed tracking system on the no-fly list. And until they turn in those guns, they will not be permitted to fly. Umm remember DHS uses those same lists at trains and bus stations now as well. DOT licensure. It will be very easy to voice....lethal to enforce.

I too have a very bad feeling about this, but will watch, only because you have to know what he has planned to counter.

This week both the First and Second have come under attack by this man.

GLP peeps need to start ringing their reps phones non-stop again. EVERY DAY FW you had a thread a while back about doing this very thing--didn't it have the DC numbers for all the states Reps and Senators on it? Can you post that thread back please?

Look for some sort of restrictions on ammo and firearm importations. I think that's about the only thing he can touch right now along with telling the BATFE to hold up what is here or on the way. The rest will be the same old tired bullshit about weapons of war and common sense gun laws.

Anything else would require a change in the current laws.

He has never been a president that brings people together. He is a professional agitator and he revels in anger so I don't think his speech will be inspiring. I'll bet it will have a Jimmy Carter malaise feel to it.

He will make sure to put in his jabs with those who disagree with him. He will couch it in his usual " I know some might say " or something along those lines. Every time I hear the phrase " the beatings will continue until moral improves " I envision Obama saying it. heh

8:00 pm ET for the speech.

But that's going to interrupt a football game. That asshole. Then again, always a chance he might just tell us to all go shopping and enjoy the holidays with our families, keep the economy strong, yada, yada...

Beginning tomorrow everyone is on the no-fly list which is conveniently used for background checks on firearms purchases.

And he'll be 45 minutes late.

He's going to talk about climate change. There will be rain, and snow, and wind, and sunshine. It's called weather. It will be windy sometimes, it'll rain alot, sometimes. Then, he will tell us, that we need not judge muslims - not to judge those who pray to another God. Then, he will say, that we need to implement more gun laws, so we can keep Merika safe.

Maybe ground troops in Syria?

Folks can continue to take him lightly and he will continue to ruin our country. While people has sat around for the last 7 years and talked about how stupid he is, he has done exactly what he promised he would do.......Fundamentally transform America. People need to wake the heck up and realize that he is hell bent on destroying this country and he's done a damn fine job of it in the past 7 years.

Maybe its about the US losing its reserve currency status to China.
