See Luke 22:36. It's also important to note that the Roman sword was the most advanced weaponry of the time. Disregard traitors and oath breakers. Carry a gun.

Because last I read the bible he comanded them to buy swords when he got to know that the romans is coming for him, and when I asked the priest to explain the contradiction about him sacrificing himself....the priest said no no the buy sword is a metaphor....buy spiritual swords to defend your faith....

But now you say it was real swords...so how can then the core believe that Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins be true?

Christians suffering for their faith has a long history that leads all the way back to the apostles themselves...and continues throughout the early church.
