Ever felt cursed?

I'm so sorry OP. Life sure is hard at times, and I want you to know that you are not alone in this tough season. Keep pressing forward, one day at a time, and you'll be able to look back at these trying times someday, thankful for all the character and experience you have gained. Yes, life is shit sometimes. Sometimes I feel like all I do is for others only to be shit on. But, I realize that life is what I make of it and I try to make the best of it when I can. Make myself laugh- don't depend on others to do it for me. That goes with everything, really. I refuse to let the other miserable fuckers take me down with them.

Well for starters, you shouldn't speak that over yourself.

What we say has an effect on us and on others.

That is caused by the people around you putting out bad vibes toward you, wishing bad things for you. Their ill will is like a curse. You can change that by doing things that get them to like you and want good things to happen for you.

The native Americans I grew up with would always say this~? If It feels like your swimming up river~? You Are~!! Take A Deep Breath.. lay on your back.. relax.. Just float.. Now~? The river of life can easily take you to your destination..

You're obviously doing something wrong.. Quit trying to control things~! Quit fighting it~! For Example~? Let's just say for instance~? You're not a welder.. You're a poet~! Nothing will ever work out for you until you submit..

Now ponder this~? Every single problem you've ever had in your entire life~? Has Mysteriously and magically worked out for the greater good~! Quit your job.. Give up on the failed relationship.. follow your dreams.. In the end~? It always works out..

ALL THE TIME! For the past 8 years it has been nonstop. I try to remain optimistic, but it's wearing me down. It all started when I got so sick I thought I might die and it's just snowballed from there. Three months after I got sick we lost a grandchild. Then we watched my mother-in-law die a horrible death from lung cancer. The economy tanked and my husband's place of employment went out of business. He was making $85,000 a year at that time. We lost our home because of it. We've had financial ups and downs ever since. We've had arguments and parting of ways with some family members. There have been several other illnesses and deaths of friends and other family members.

I'm still dealing with health issues. Three months ago my mom was in ICU. She moved in with us and I have nursed her back to health. She's doing pretty good now, but we barely had a chance to catch our breath when my brother-in-law passed away unexpectedly yesterday.

It all becomes overwhelming at times. The only way I get through it is by counting my blessing. My husband and I have a relationship that most people will never have. I don't know how I would have made it through everything without him and vice versa. Every adversity brings us even closer together. I love my children and have 4 beautiful grandchildren who have all been tested in the high ability range with the oldest testing at the genius level. I carry on for all of them. My life is devoted to Christ and my family.
