it tastes great.
______________
Minneapolis, MN - On March 21, 2003, the DEA issued a final rule regarding the legality of hemp foods. The new rule seeks to ban the sale of ALL Hemp Food Products and to prohibit the import of hemp oil for cosmetic manufacture as of April 21, 2003. French Meadow Bakery is confident that this ruling will be overturned again as it has been in the past. In March of 2002, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals issued a "Stay" on a similar rule issued back in October 2001.

"Hempseed is a wonder food, it is one of the most nutritious foods on the planet. This is a great loss for the health conscience consumers of the United States." says Lynn Gordon, owner of French Meadow Bakery. "Hemp is a rich source of protein, dietary fiber, minerals, iron, vitamin E, and a near perfect composition of essential fatty acids - Omega 3 and 6. French Meadow Bakery's Healthy Hemp Bread is a meal in a slice of bread since it contains all the essential nutrients that a body craves." Lynn gordon says. The might hempseed's 31% protein content is comprised of all 9 essential amino acids! The Omega's 3 and 6 are good fats necessary for optimum health; they lower cholesterol, burn excess fat, support a healthy heart, and boost the immune system.
Ironically, French Meadow Bakery's Healthy Hemp Bread recently received the highest scores in a taste test conducted by Natural Health Magazine.
Industrial hemp is similar to poppy seeds in its exception from the Controlled Substances Act (CSA 21 U.S.C. 802(16)). Environmentally sustainable, it is economically viable to grow hemp. Hemp is a great rotation crop for corn and soybeans. Over 30 other countries now allow and encourage the production of hemp, and it's 25,000 potential uses.

I checked-out some of the clothing in the canadian shops here. It was reall nice looking stuf...regular shirts and casual jeans and stuf. A little high priced...like double the retail price for t-shirts and jeans. The cloth looked like rough cotton...
