Who here is actually looking forward to death?

Well I'm not afraid either and I agree with you. To me it's like going to a different dimension.

The only reason why I am looking forward to it is to see my father, grandma, and aunt, I miss them terribly.

I remember existing before this life, so having that memory and knowledge really lessens up the fear and fires up the curiosity.

yeah, i think along those lines too, but i am gonna live this life to the fullest possible

i think thats what we're here for, to have as many experiences as possible, to work through them, and learn from them

death is a fantastic journey imho, and is only a problem for those left behind

Yes I use to be afraid of death. Very afraid of death. Then I lost 2 people the most dear to me in life in the matter of 3 months. After something like that your not afraid anymore. You say bring it on. I am ready whenever it's my time to go. There is so much pain here. I know I came here cause I wanted to come back but I now I want to go back home. However, not yet...

I don't like change, but when this body wears out I'll be ready...I just hope I don't get squished before I get to enjoy my grandchildren...and maybe their children too

Not looking forward to it but looking forward to seeing my dad again. I miss him terribly. I am very curious about what happens in the next life (former agnostic here).

I'm certainly not about rushing it either, want to live until the personal apocalypse happens. Just don't walk around large cranes in mecca and you won't get squished.

Death is the beginning of everything and I look forward to it but I have so much I have to accomplish here first

LOL, well there's a million ways to get squished, but Mecca cranes will not be one of them for me. Statistically it will be some idiot drunk driver that crosses the center line, but I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Yeah, lost my brother, cant wait to get with him again.
I am only looking to make it one day longer than my parents.
I'd be ready now, but I do not want my parents to bury both their kids. So, one day after I bury my parents, all bets are off, I have no other reason to be here any more.

Yup, me too. I already tapped out and ready to go as I sit here with a terminal brain disease, THIS world is bonkers but...as I posted on another thread, God can be so cruel-and I'll probably be sitting here for what will feel like forever, waiting waiting waiting....

here's a scary scenario that popped up in a dream recently - you don't actually die and go somewhere else.. When you die in this dimension, you instantly continue your life, just short of your 'death', in another dimension. And it goes on indefinitely until such time you awaken spiritually.

I don't fear death.
If I meet an untimely death, before I get to hold my children in my arms, well I could conclude that fate is a bitch but fate is fate regardless.
If it happens, well fuck me sideways, but maybe it's for the better.

This thread makes me sad. You don't near to fear death, but embrace life people! If you are here, you are here for a reason. There is a plan and purpose for your life.

You do realize when your soul leaves the body, you'll be looking forward to the next adventure in the physical realm again, which probably won't be any time soon. The grass is always greener on the other side.

You should fear Death and God if you are not a born again believer and follower of Jesus Christ.

I do not fear death and look forward to eternal life with Jesus after this one.

When I was little I always had this dream of high water rolling in from where the sky meets the ocean. Eventually it covers me and I couldn't make it to the surface. Maybe my previous life was on Atlantis
