The weather won't do anything it hasn't done before. End of forecast. Just because a person "doesn't remember" the weather or temperatures ever having been a certain way, doesn't mean they weren't. Research historical data for European regions. Go back to at least the mid eighteen hundreds. I guarantee you'll find that at some point, everything was exactly the way it is now. I live in a major city, I actually forced our largest newspaper to print a retraction last year when they declared global warming was bringing winter weather never seen before. I referenced not only the governments historical data but their own back issues from the fifties, eighties, ninties and even the millennium so that they would have to admit they were full of it. Much to my amazement they did admit it, on the front page no less. |

I don't think we're even getting close to the mild climate of the middle ages. vineyards are popping back up here, but for now only in the warmest southern regions. |

Considering last year was one of the hottest summers ever.... what's gonna happen this summer? Quoting: mariot If things develop as expected, temperatures in Europe are going to touch 50C (122F) in the summer of 2016 for the first time ever (in the last few million years), before settling back at 30-35C during the fall, most likely staying between 20-30C during the winter of 2016/2017, and then making a sharp spike upward starting with the spring of 2017. By the summer of 2017, it won't matter what the temperature is, but and educated guess would be an occasional spike of upward of 70C. Sounds impossible, right? Well, if you can't imagine that, how can you imagine what will happen when it goes to 100+C? Venus is going to look like an icy desert compared to Earth in a few short years, and I somehow doubt that those deep underground places are going to be any cooler than the surface. What is going on? Simply put, mass-to-energy conversion. A very efficient process once you get it running... intentionally or not. If I were trying to be sarcastic, I'd say that they've finally got all the "free energy" they ever wanted... ["they" being the power-hungry imbeciles that run this planet and their clueless stooges, which is essentially all the rest of us] ... so don't say that no one asked you if you wanted it or not. By letting them do it, all of us gave them our consent. It's how this world works. Inaction is as much a choice as any choice to act, and all choices have their consequences. |
