In Missouri there are still 37 left to be assigned. My guess is Trump will be at 691 by tonight or tomorrow morning. A whole lot better than the 621 the MSM was using last night. Most people are overlooking the fact that Missouri and Illinois will end of being a treasure trove of delegates that pretty much will negate the Ohio loss. Actually losing Ohio helps Trump as it keeps Kasich in the race splitting the Anti Trump vote. |

Does that mean they can throw someone in at the last minute and have them made the nominee? This election stuff is hard to understand for us non-Americans... well... okay for this non-american. This is the most vital election this world can possibly watch right now. It's damn important and I'm getting all confused on this brokered/contested stuff (and open/closed stuff while we're at it.) The way I see it, as a foreigner, isn't California the most liberal hippy actor hairdresser type place in the US? How on earth could Trump win there? |

Should Trump win, the RNC will contest the popularly nominated candidate. Plus, the RNC can choose from all the Republican candidates in the field whether they're in or out of the race. Is this going to be another Republican convulsion to vomit out someone they don't like? To be led by Ted Cruz no doubt. Is this going to be like how they elected Bush over Gore, with 9 S.Ct. votes? Is all this a sham or what? I read and listen to Mike Savage, the only person who tells the truth about my country. This is not a plug, it's just who I listen to and believe and respect. Too bad I can't say that about anyone in Washington DC. |

These idiots are fools. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 70162470 They'll broker his vp nominee like Reagan. Yeah. I said along time ago in another thread that his VP will have ties to the establishment. It'll probably end up being Kasich, or maybe Rubio. I heard Newt Gingrich say that he thinks Trump and Cruz will probably team up if it comes down to the brokered convention. I know a lot of Trump voters and Cruz voters are now pitted against one another. I find myself as a Trump supporter looking at Cruz as a rival, but when all of this began, Trump was my #1 and Cruz was my #2. |

Cruz is smart and a lot younger he has time for 2020 if Trump does what he says he will. The man took the offer while watching Kasich and the establishment gloat last night. Anonymous Coward User ID: 69742981 United States 03/16/2016 04:36 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Two more mail-in ballot votes from my house, for Trump here in Arizona. I think he will do well here, with endorsements from Ben Carson, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, and former gov Jan Brewer all coming through since the old polls. I wish Ron Paul would endorse Trump, that would help him among the libertarians. While some I know here say they will not ever vote for Trump, because they (mistakenly) consider him a racist, bigot, etc. many others I've spoken with have not voted since the Reagan era do plan to vote for Trump. Arizona is winner-take-all, and only a few less delegates than Ohio had. Based on my math he should have no trouble reaching 1,237 delegates given his expected performance in remaining states, many of which are WTA. Also many of the spit delegate states are probably less favorable to Cruz than previous bible belt states have been, and Kasich (assuming he does stay in, with clearly no path to the nomination) may not meet thresholds in some to score any delegates. All that said, Trump could come in with 1,400 delegates and I wouldn't be surprised if the scumbags at RNC steal it from him! I got furious listening to that asshat Curley Hoagland's interview... I hate the Republican party nearly as much as the Democratic party. |
