The babylon of Revelation 18 is not the Roman Church
Some people usually use Revelation chapter 18 as a reason to leave apostate churches, while i agree that you should come out of those churches, the babylon of Revelation 18 is not the roman church but Jerusalem.

People saying that the Vatican is the babylon of chapter 18 are believing adventists fables instead of the bible.

"And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth." Revelation 18:24
 Quoting: bible

Obviously the roman church didn't kill the prophets but Jerusalem surely did:

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!"
Luke 13:34
 Quoting: bible

Jerusalem is called a whore in the OT:

"I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! wilt thou not be made clean? when shall it once be?"
Jeremiah 13:27
 Quoting: bible

And in Revelation 18:1 the verse says "ANOTHER Angel". Now, another angel because the chapter is about another whore, not the same whore of chapter 17. Logical and biblical.

Zachariah chapter 5 verse 9 also says:

"Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven"
 Quoting: bible

Two women: Vatican and Jerusalem.

Wings of a stork (unclean animal)

Lifted up the ephah earth and heaven: both women to make you decide between the law of god or the law of men.

Babylon is a system

The current system controlling the world - money, government, organized religion.
“If we are peaceful, if we are happy, we can smile and blossom like a flower, and everyone in our family, our entire society, will benefit from our peace.”
Thich Nhat Hanh, Being Peace

"But ask the animals, and they will teach you,
or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;
or speak to the earth, and it will teach you,
or let the fish in the sea inform you." - Job 12:7,8

It surely is. But it is not the babylon described in Revelation 18.

You gotta learn how to identify what is described in the bible.

For isntance, there are many earthquakes every year, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are the quakes described in the bible.

All the symbolism in Rev is Rome, not Israel. There is no Israeli empire, lol.

You must first come to terms with 1260 years in Bible prophecy that correctly identifies the HRE-beast.

Untrue.

Rev_11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Jesus died in the roman empire? No.

Rev_21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Its definitely not the Roman catholic church.

People who know biblical geography know that.

Every City covering biblical babylon is in saudi and Iraq.

The bible is very clear who the dragon of Revelation is.

Islam..

28 Behold an horrible vision, and the appearance thereof from the east:
29 Where the nations of the dragons of Arabia shall come out with many chariots, and the multitude of them shall be carried as the wind upon earth, that all they which hear them may fear and tremble.
30 Also the Carmanians raging in wrath shall go forth as the wild boars of the wood, and with great power shall they come, and join battle with them, and shall waste a portion of the land of the Assyrians.
31 And then shall the dragons have the upper hand, remembering their nature; and if they shall turn themselves, conspiring together in great power to persecute them,
32 Then these shall be troubled bled, and keep silence through their power, and shall flee.

Re: The babylon of Revelation 18 is not the Roman Church
The Seven Hills of Rome (Italian: Sette colli di Roma [ˈsɛtte ˈkɔlli di ˈroːma], Latin: Septem montes Romae) east of the river Tiber form the geographical heart of Rome, within the walls of the city.

The seven hills are:[1]

Aventine Hill (Latin, Aventinus; Italian, Aventino)
Caelian Hill (Caelius, Celio)
Capitoline Hill (Capitolinus, Campidoglio)
Esquiline Hill (Esquilinus, Esquilino)
Palatine Hill (Palatinus, Palatino)
Quirinal Hill (Quirinalis, Quirinale)
Viminal Hill (Viminalis, Viminale)
The Vatican Hill (Latin Collis Vaticanus) lying northwest of the Tiber, the Pincian Hill (Latin Mons Pincius), lying to the north, and the Janiculum Hill (Latin Ianiculum), lying to the west, are not counted among the traditional Seven Hills.

◄ Revelation 17:9 ►

"This calls for a mind with wisdom. The seven heads are seven hills on which the woman sits.

Re: The babylon of Revelation 18 is not the Roman Church
16 And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

This chapter very clearly depicts the roman catholic church. Scarlet and purple. Rest my case. Not New York, obviously the Vatican. You people really like to twist the bible to fit whatever it is you want to believe.
