Anonymous Coward User ID: 71927652 United States 04/02/2016 11:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Back in January, I quit smoking a pack-a-day habit and quit drinking $80/week in Captain Morgan but am now obsessed with, wait for it... getting a new car. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71569824 I'm totally obsessed with my bank account rising this quickly and getting this car. Not one hour goes by without me thinking of this new car or the best way I can get more money in the bank sooner so I can get this new car. LOL Is this normal thinking? Looks like you lost the addiction demon and gained the covetousness demon. A horse is a vain thing (Psalm 33:17)...but everything in satan's kingdom is. But hey if you feel the need you do it, until it becomes apparent that your at enmity with GOD (James 4:4) and you want to get the HOLY SPIRIT and get out. At that point they're gonna (essentially) shoot your horse. |

AR 15-SPECIALIST Admit it! We’re Fucked User ID: 70699807 United States 04/02/2016 11:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hate to bust your bubble. Why spend money on something that you'll lose 25% as soon it's driven off the lot. More than likely you'll have it for less than 6 years and take another big hit when you trade it in or sell it out right. I know you hear this a lot in GLP but look into guns and precious metals. Guns are fun because you can customize them to fit your personality. Let's say you have spent 2K outfitting an AR. 2-3 years from now you'll be able to sell that same AR for 1800.00 if not more than what you have spent to build it. plus it fun to shoot shit:) As for precious metals.....their precious metals! Unless you have an huge amount of disposable income (which your post says otherwise) fuck the vehicle idea unless it's a purchase for profit. I for one love to buy and sell firearms. The people you meet are usually like minded and honest people. I'm constantly looking for deals. I can average 300.00-1000.00 a month profit just doing something I love. It's also really rewarding to crack open the safe and count your bars or coins. Last Edited by AR 15-SPECIALIST on 04/02/2016 11:59 PM TRUMPS FAULT |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 58217104 United States 04/03/2016 12:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks. I just find myself obsessing about it at times. Just wasn't my pattern of thought I was used too and am not sure if it's a natural progression. Weird. Your Subconscious is just constantly focused on how much $$$$$ you're saving by not smoking and drinking (let's face it , it's a CONSIDERABLE amount) and is gleeful at the prospect of something "constructive " to spend all that cash on. Sounds healthy to me. Congrats! |

The vehicle won't depreciate as quickly as other cars, PLUS, it will be MINE! |
