You can get them at the drug store. I think they work best if you do it early. |
Sealass User ID: 70947678 United States 04/08/2016 06:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes, I have cured sinus infections with the following: - Oil Pulling with raw, organic coconut oil 2-3x day, especially in the AM on an empty stomach for 20 minutes. - A constant stream of hot water + ACV + raw honey going into my body - Food grade hydrogen peroxide in my ears: lay onto 1 side, drop into ear until ear is full, let sit until popping/noises stop (5-10 min), then flip over, drain out of first ear, and repeat into second ear. I'd do this 2-3x a day until better, and try to do this the MOMENT you feel symptoms in the future. Other recommendation: - Crush entire clove of garlic, let sit for 10-15 min, chop it up into smaller pieces, and then sprinkle on toast (I do coconut oil like butter on toast, then organic PB, then the crushed garlic, topped with raw honey. Sounds insane, but is the best thing you can eat when sick. - Colloidal silver is good, but be careful, as most people don't realize it kills good AND bad organisms in your gut, therefore wiping out good digestive enzymes and such. Get a good probiotic to take an hour after each colloidal silver intake, if you use it. Good luck |

The infections are likely related, so these remedies should help to ease each one. Try drinking lots of warm water with lemon. You can also add cayenne pepper, honey, apple cider vinegar, ginger, and garlic or any combination. Make sure you drink a ton of water and try to avoid dairy and foods with a lot of added sugars for a few days. Also try to avoid processed foods with funky ingredients. The spicy food was also a great suggestion. Thai red curry is my go to when I'm sick. You can also try Thai tom yum soup, Chinese hot and sour soup or good ole chicken noodle. Not the cambells or progreso or any crappy kind like that. Homemade is best. If you would like any recipe ideas let me know! Also try eating a lot of vitamin C rich foods such as citrus fruits, berries, kiwis, and apples. Vitamin c helps to break down mucus in the body. You could also try a vitamin C supplement from food sources (not the junk pills with synthetic stuff and orange dye and artificial flavor) my favorite vitamin c supplement is the Madres labs one that is a powerer you mix with juice. If you are having this recurring very often you likely have a weakened immune system that could benefit from some boosting. Getting adequate sleep, eating a balanced diet with plenty of fruits, veggies and good quality animal protein is a great place to start. If you find that you are already following a pretty healthy diet but still having recurring infections you may want to try an elimination diet such as the Whole 30 (basically paleo with no added sugar) and then slowly reintroducing foods to see if they cause you any issues. Hope this helps! I used to get recurring throat and sinus infections and they are such a pain in the ass. Sources: I'm a holistic nutritionist |

Turn the heat off, move the pot, add another half a clove, wait 3 or 4 minutes & add another half a clove. Let garlic water cool & take a few drops in a spoon and snort it down the chosen nostril. You'll start to feel the effects almost immediately. I knew a girl who had no luck with antibiotics...and this cure worked for her. It's worked for me as well. |

Quoting: Krissyinoh 17974483 If I had an ear ache I'd... Drop Colloidal silver down the ear canal 1/4 a clove of garlic, length wise and stick it in your ears. as weird as it sounds it works. Netty pot with a a few drops of peppermint oil. |

Both are technically antibiotics, but probably not the kind you mean. Heaps of fluids, keep warm, honey lemon helps clear those tubes. Theres soothing teas but i've forgot which ones. And some ginger. |

It'll clear that nose right out too. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 64104166 That's what works for me. I love hot food, particularly jalapenos. ..what about my suspected ear infection? Ive used a garlic clove for an earache. It cures it. Cut the clove to fit in your ear, but make sure it is not too small... I did that once, and when the swelling went down while I was sleeping the garlic went down into the tube, had a harrowing time getting it out. Also if the garlic burns where you cut it, rub oil on it before you stick it in your ear. |

Here is one for the medically inclined [link to www.straighthealthcare.com] here is one for the rest of us lol... [link to www.inesss.qc.ca (secure)] I have done some research that says they over prescribe these little ditties. Like saying you have to take them for 10 or 14 days etc. We take them no less than 5 no more than 7. That way you do not get the create a bigger bug syndrome the medical world is blaming all antibiotic resistant strain viruses and bacteria's on...which is crap but oh well. You can make yourself much sicker by short terming these pills. They are not like an aspirin or tylenol or pain killer or allergy pill. These are meant to be taken over a course of time. You can re feed the bacteria and get a stronger version if you do not do at least 5 and most would say 7 day course. These will not cure any virus. WILL NOT but my deal with a virus especially respiratory is the secondary infection that is bacterial. Your body responds to the scracthy and itching and injury the virus does and you get this bacteria growing and the secondary dangerous infections. That is why we cover ourselves even with a virus with these. WE DO NOT GET SICK OFTEN. If you are sick all the time and take these all the time you will get worse. If you take good care of yourself eat right take supplements etc and use these in dire situations you will be fine if you do them correctly. WHEW! lol |
