Could this be the Andromedans? I think whoever was controlling that camera knew a lot of people would be watching that game and took the opportunity to shut off the visual interference. Apparently, someone else quickly took notice and flipped the switch back. I wouldn't doubt it if that individual was quickly dispatched for his actions and i don't mean fired...

More info on possible exposure of Andromedan race. Seems the Hopi were familiar with them.

Field was blue too, I guess the field must be alien too? No tech knowledge here but it looks to be some sort of malfunction to me.

As was the second baseman. So perhaps some sort of brown/tan -> blue contrast issue?

The player in the background has a blue face as well.

That's called anti-allergic paint.

Or perhaps that artificial turf is actually blue in color as well, but made to look brown to our eyes. Think about it. If its actual color is revealed, what would people say. HEY! WHY IS THE FIELD BLUE?!?

Perhaps these Andromedans or whatever they are, breathe a different variant of our oxygen which this "blue colored" turf emits. Think of it like the special oxygen stones inside of a fish tank. They need this blue field in order to perform. Its true blue color is hidden from us and replaced with the real artificial color of brown.

That previous link i posted from EXOPEDIA says, "The Andromedans were the "blue race" that landed in Florida in 1954."

Wasn't Florida mostly swamp during that time? Perhaps this water like region was necessary for them to extract some form of oxygen.

Only showed 2 players who were blue for a few moments before they realized the filter was off. Those same 2 players & probably more on that team are from the same alien species. It would make sense since having too many humans on their team would eventually draw suspicions due to them constantly having to be on the road together. It would only be a matter of time before they would do or say something to one of their team members that would draw suspicion.

Notice how the guy doing the commentary does not lose a beat when they change color. My initial reaction would have been to laugh instantly and make some reference to smurfs. Yet this commentator keeps his same monotonic tone throughout the snafu. Probably making hand signals or pressing some button behind the scenes to alert the handlers of the situation at hand. A situation that is immediately corrected and not spoken of. Except for those individuals who caught it & uploaded the moment to expose it.

Open your mind Quaid...

The piping in the uniforms appeared blue and there was a bluish cast to gloves etc. so I think it was some sort of filter issue or viral marketing for the next Avatar movie.

Here is the same individual having problems with Earth's gravity. As you can see, once he is no longer on the field, the lack of the blue artificial turf, (as discussed earlier) is evident by his quick loss of balance from a simple tap. That white line on the floor probably serves as a "marker" to notify him that he is no longer at a safe distance for oxygenation. Apparently the guy who slightly tapped him on the shoulder is unawares and tries to assist him back up.

At this moment Bartolo, afraid that perhaps his true visage has been revealed, becomes so struck with fear of being found out that he tries to run only making the situation worse.

Further evidence that the truth is out there...

Pay close attention to the second one. Would you look at that, its Bartolo again. How many players exist in baseball, yet this individual again is pointed out as being rather unusual...

Baseball would be the last thing i would imagine to be associated with extra terrestrial annotations, yet it seems evident that on more than one occasion, subtle hints have been dropped to the contrary....
