weed should have replaced fiat currency a long time ago, used to smoke weed alot, ive cut down by 99% (because of money and "laws" aka illegally testing people just to get some shit job that pays just enough to live on the streets), personally i think weed is extremely potent and most people shouldnt be using any kind of drugs in general, but i digress. and those guns and ammo just laying around will be collected and hoarded jsut like the minerals the .00000001% have. and no one wins or loses in the game of life, we just live under tyranny until we die, thats it

unless you are part of some army (local militia) guns and amo are not going to "save you " ... buy food, that you can eat straight out of the can, cold ... or "ready to eat meals, in mylar

no matter what type of doom it is, you will need to EAT - so it is vital that you have enough food and water to last you ... I would say a month at minimum ... that way you will not have to go out of the house and into the food riots

TPTB, have snipers, that can shoot you dead, from a mile away - before you even see them coming - you can't do that - so why spend your money on guns an amo when hiding will give you a better chance of not being notice / targeted ? ... sure have a home defense shot-gun (for looters) - and a really good hiding place because they will be coming, in force, door-to-door to relocate you and steal your food and livestock... be prepared for THAT- I suggest you leave your home looking abandon and looted already - leave some food in your pantry, so they will be satisfied, and not look deeper - turn off the power (if you still have it) hide your "valuables"

get a good ham radio - so you can listen to what is going on around you ... silver will be highly valuable AFTER things calm down ... but buy food and water FIRST

Ammo, but my suggestion is to invest that money into learning to make wine, gruit, likker. Start a garden learn to grow corn, rice, grains. .. invest that money into a reloader for 556 762... get what I'm saying

A great rifle but you would have other priorities first. And you can buy a cheaper rifle that shoots as well as the Ruger Scout.

Very nice. Choose the "tools" carefully according to your geography and immediate social composition. Then throw all that out and get the most firepower for the buck because all rules are gone as soon as it breaks down. The best plans of a military maneuver are invalid 5 minutes after the 1st boots hit the beach.

I have 6 combat tours, if you have guns and ammo now, then get all of your other preps med/water/food and then grow an heirloom garden.

WTSHTF it won't hit as quick as you think, food and water will run out first, guns will protect you, your preps will see you threw it all and an heirloom garden will sustain you for a very long time.

Collards, Mustard and Kale greens still grow in snow.

Mountain House has freeze dried food for the short run, garden in the long run unless the ground is covered in volcano ash.

Guns and ammo are good to have for sure, Ruger 10/22 is a cheap utility rifle, with a couple hundred bucks you can after market it out nicely and have a good Nikon scope.

Junk Silver quarters and dimes are nice to have, round it out with some Silver Eagles from your local coin store.

Make sure you have a radio, chainsaw, bag of tools, toilet paper and soap.

If you have the ability buy some 250 gallon food safe containers off craigslist and collect rain water.

Like someone else mentioned, smoke and booze is good to have on hand.

You can never be fully prepared for everything but lots of good ideas here.
