The GOP establishment (in Co-operation with the DNC) is bringing Carly into the limelight at this time so she can attack THE DON on women's issues. This is the newest concerted attack on Trump that is just ramping up. Cruz himself cannot attack Trump directly with this issue as good as Carly can (or at least it's not as persuasive.)

This is just the next page in the playbook. You will probably see one or two more GOP establishment women come out in the next week attacking Trump on women's issues.

But I'm guessing Trump has some women of his own that he will bring out to offset the attack.
