My fiancé gets bored way too fast and needs things to keep her attention. Sad, but true.

I'm a woman, and I agree to a certain extent. This month, my husband and I will celebrate 20 years of marriage. In that 20 years, my problem-solving skills have vastly increased, and I give him a lot of the credit for teaching me how to do/fix stuff. When something breaks, he fixes it. Our vehicles need work, he does it. If something can be recycled or reused, crafted into something we need or want, that's what we do. The best thing he's taught me is how to think about the way things work as a starting point to forming a solution to a problem.

Women have the capacity for problem solving, inventing and engineering, it just takes some of us a bit longer to harness it.

I suppose any dummy could raise a child and it requires no use of your brain. I guess your mother has no logical thinking skills either and has just needed a man to do everything. Thats prob how you know this. From your mom.

As an IT person and Employee the Month, I have to disagree.

I've been a math tutor for years. Generally, males are better at math than females. And it's true, Asians are better at math than any other race. Simply stating facts. Obviously, there are exceptions.

I may be in the minority but Iv found problem solving/fixing anything on my own an enjoyable challenge. YouTube does help but Iv learned to do a lot of DIY around my home that would normally require a man to help me. Im very clever and proud of myself

True that. I taught my wife to think with logic and reasoning, it took a few years but was well worth it. She praises me constantly for her ability to think before she reacts, now if we disagree we can discuss instead of argue, and if she gets emotional she realizes it and walks away till she gets herself under control.

I've worked with some damn fine female IT Techs.
Desktop techs, Server techs, Networking techs - they really can do the job well!

And they are much better at handling an annoyed User than I'll ever be!
