Its not, your dad voted left, or your mom posted something on facebook, or i think your cousin is gay.

Tows are necessities. Its not like choosing a private catering or cake decorator where there are plenty of others to fill the hole.

Also its plain stupid, could you imagine if the wrong person gets shit on in this way, and goes through hell, maybe raped on the side of the road, and the family organizes a massive boycott, you'd be out of business in no time and maybe even facing charges.

You are confusing business with volunteerism,

If running a tow business, or a repair business, or a landscaping business has become equated with volunteerism, then our country really is a wreck, worse than I thought.

People deserve to get paid for services they render and goods they sell. It was his experience that leftists are dead beats.

Having been a business person for decades, I have to tell you, they are the ones who will weasel and whine and play victim and do anything to get out of paying, to the extent of just not paying, period.

There were plenty of other towing companies that the family's mechanic could have chosen, he just chose this one. They got another one to come and tow her. There was no dramatic repurcussion.

I think that escalating the story to a rape scene is a little extreme.

And the family is attempting to boycott them through Facebook. I doubt if it will put him out of business.

There are no grounds for criminal charges here.

Business people have a right to chose to do business with, though it is rapidly eroding, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, socialist societies flounder and fail, and the elite leaders inevitably have to modify the system with what is called capitalism in order to provide incentive for the worker and funds enough to keep the thing afloat. They can only exist by printing fiat money in the current environment, and this is a form of capitalism too.

I run a towing company with my dad, we would never pull crap like this. People have been killed while stuck on the side of the interstate many times, people don't pay attention while driving and rarely get over for people broke down or changing a tire. Someone's political beliefs are no reason to leave someone stranded and it doesn't do us towing people a great service. There is already a stereotype that we're rednecks and people see stuff like this that reinforces that.

We sure do get a good laugh out of all the toyota prius with obama stickers though. Almost every time we do a prius there's an obama sticker. Never had anymore trouble getting payment outta them more than anyone else though.

To repeat what I said earlier. Not paying a bill is not a criminal charge. For smaller sums like this, it costs more to pursue the debtor than it is worth. But if you get enough $100 no-pays, it adds up and you are wiser to not do business with them.

You can disbelieve all you want. That was the man's experience.

Tips are not the same as payment for services rendered. They just are not the same.

True but you can't argue that any business (big or small) that takes a political position as big as this one is asking to go bankrupt.

It's not like Trump supporters will be lining up to get a tow from this guy, but Bernie supporters will just simply not call, or if they do, get denied anyways.
