Dizzy/high feeling when drinking afternoon coffee

Dizzy/high feeling when drinking afternoon coffee
I can drink morning coffee when I wake up and it's fine but then when a few hours later if i have a cup of coffee alongside some food or a cigarette i get this hazy/high/dizzy feeling and i start shaking a little bit and a general unsteady feeling.

It feels like I've smoked a strong joint or something when I just had coffee with a cigarette or a meal.

Give me your medical advice as to what this could be? Thanks

You're dehydrated and drinking a diuretic, likely on an empty stomach.

I find I need to drink a glass of water and eat something in conjunction with an afternoon coffee or I tend to feel the same.

Me too. Love coffee but can't drink it, or any caffeinated drinks. If I do I feel stoned. It takes a beer or two to feel normal again.

Been having same issue... Getting dizzy even. Will try water and food before afternoon caffeine shot.

Recent development though. Been attributing it to age lol.
