I am guessing by now you have all reviewed this story through multiple media sources. And I am also guessing you have read both sides of this argument.

I am stuck on one thing about this uproar. The woman who posted this tweet wrote, "9/11 changed the world for good..."

This is true, even in your eyes. 9/11 did change the world permanently. Since 9/11 the world has not been the same.

Now, I am guessing that some of you are seeing red now, and probably asking to bane me, but the truth of the matter is that the sentence she wrote does not speak to her opinion of the events of 9/11, instead it speaks to the permanence of the reaction. Since 9/11 the world has been changed, and it will never go back to the way it was in the past.

I see on other posts that many of you argue over the minutia of differences of words and their meanings. I just wanted to point this out.

Nope. Obama and entourage is out when new president takes over. If Trump takes over, most dems under Obama will also leave because now the repubs will be in power, unless Trump offers them a position.

You're absolutely correct. 9/11 changed my world, and the perspective of the world for damn near everyone else, forever. There is no denying that. I will never again trust a muslim. My fear of them runs so deep it is absolutely crippling.

This is a shame, really, because I always thought Islam was just another Abrahamic religion like Christianity or Judaism and the followers of Islam were just like me; wanting to rid the world of poverty and war as well as uniting all of humanity, through love and works, with the one true God. Um... oops! Guess my parents didn't know what Islam was either :(

I was as wrong about Islam as I was about the EU being a copy of the United States of America. They are so far apart in terms of definition and function that I was basically trying to argue that apples and pizza are both fruit!

For me, personally, I think it is a mistake to have her on an anti-terrorism committee. Look what has already come out of that group? Now we can't use the terms "jihad" or "sharia" when referring to terrorism? And she has stated that she is Syrian, will always be of Syria...etc and now the same President who appointed her to this committee is being pressured to bomb Syria? What could possibly go wrong?

That was the Obama on Larry king debunking the Muslim accusations.

Watch his body language. He nods when Larry is saying that a percentage of Americans believe he is raised in a Muslim home. Then laughs cause he can't believe his own lie.

But he says right there that you just keep telling the Americans the "truth" ,and just hope eventually they believe it.
