These everyday people respect our way of life, and realize why they are where they are - that the fruits of their labor in this great country, one that has created more wealth and innovation than any other in the history of the planet, have granted them. So, after a hard day of work (instead of hate), they choose to show that respect by standing as one to honor our flag, and our culture, of which this tradition has been a part for as long as this country has stood.

I was at an MLB baseball game yesterday, and during the National Anthem, two muslim men, one of which was wearing a turbin... they both had their hands over their hearts and were singing along.

I have been to many Canadian sporting events and have always stood when Oh Canada is played/sung. I stand out of respect for our good neighbors and respect for their love of their country.
