Modern pop music is repulsive and tasteless

Frequent your local grocery store, hear that same redundant, soulless, gay-ass trash that dominates the Top 40 Radio. Today's decline in art represents our decline in values. 60s/70s/80s were far from perfect but there was a sense of community and hospitality back then that is undeniably dying rapidly today. People are so self-indulgent and narcissistic today, and this shows in the music.
I know it's hip and cool to have the latest gadgets and be up-to-date with music/pop culture but so is murder. Don't ask me to murder a man either. Am I the only one who feels this way?
