This is something I have knowledge of unfortunately. My Brother was 16 when he did that. We were all very close until that happened.
He took Dads shotgun and just took his own life.
The thing is I know why he did it. It is the elephant in the room.

That poor young fella was living in a crazy moment, he had NO idea how his actions would impact on himself and his family because he couldn't see the devastation he would leave behind him. The hole that he will leave. One that could never be replaced.
Everything from his smile to the sound of his footsteps-the uniqueness of him.
He had reached the end his rope about something and couldn't handle it.
He needed to talk to someone FREELY, anyone.... with swear words and all.
As a teen you don't get to do that.
In school you have to shut-up and conform.
At home you have to "behave yourself".
At play there are rules around sport.
Is there anywhere to be a free soul anymore for teens?
If you do anything at all wild it is facebooked, youtubed, instragramed, used against you for a later date.....
They have no guidance for the bad shit that happens anymore.


My brothers death was termed as a "tragic accident". BS. As a teen I remember the lies - You couldn't be buried in a Catholic graveyard if you were a suicide......
And it was back to school the following week.
Like nothing had happened.

I hope that poor family get all the love and support they need from every quarter.

His Dad will blame himself of that I have no doubt and his Mam will blame his Dad and it could all get worse...that's if they don't talk to someone that has an experience of this.

They have to.. especially if they have other children.

There are lots of different types of pressure. Teen pressure is the worst kind IMHO.
