State Department reopens Clinton emails probe

WASHINGTON (AP) — The State Department is reopening an internal investigation of possible mishandling of classified information by Hillary Clinton and top aides.

Spokesman John Kirby says the emails probe is restarting now that the Justice Department isn’t pursuing a criminal prosecution. The State Department suspended its review in April to avoid interfering with the FBI’s inquiry.

Kirby set no deadline for the investigation’s completion.

State Dept needs to administratively slap her wrist...

Or it will face increased monitoring of how they communicate and do business

Also, a slap on the wrist (she is no longer part of the State Dept) could then be argued as her having been judged and punished (symbolically) thus inoculating her against real punitive actions if/when Trump is elected... ( double jeopardy)

Also, if she is punished for this, an excuse can be made to not go after the foundation crimes....

Why is there no congressional outrage over Lynch sealing records of the foundation for 28 months?
