I agree completely, however, when a smaller percentage of the population commits a majority of crime (as born out repeatedly by statistics) you can't expect law abiding citizens to turn a blind eye. There are true racists in the world, but just because ppl are aware of the facts of the matter that doesn't make them racist.

Who makes these statistics?
What is the background of these criminals?
Who sent drugs in the black neighborhoods in the 80's?

Are you suggesting the aforementioned statistics are incorrect, or lies?

Who's fault is it that their background is what it is? Parents and communities teach children. What they are taught is the crux of the situation. Teach right from wrong. Teach respect for others. Teach a work ethic. Don't teach hate. Don't teach a victim mentality. Then, and only then, can things change.

Drugs are widely available everywhere. That is a matter of choice.

I made my point. You are saying lack of ethics and proper teaching is the crux of the situation.

I asked what kind of ethics is being taught when the state bails out banks and the world watches as bankers are rewarded for their activities? Crime pays is what.

I can only speak for myself and my children, but I learned from my parents and environment. Not only through their words, but also their actions. I think most people are the same way. Do you really believe ethics and values are learned from unnamed bankers and elites? Or are you saying that it OK because others do it? If you are then it must be OK to be racist because others are. Stop the blame game. Sometimes crime does pay, but usually it is a road to a hard and unfulfilling life.

I do feel for those that may be trapped by their circumstances in life, but they have to be willing to do something about it other than accusing someone else of holding them down before I have much sympathy.

Crime sometimes pays to an extent. Doesnt make it right, and usually ends up with jail/death or some other type of negative outcome. He is telling you the obvious about PERSONAL responsibility. Teach what is right no matter what the slime bankers are doing. Just because evil seems to succeed does not mean we should all join in the evil. This is what should be taught to our PERSONAL families. NOT "DEY GOT'S DERS SO I GOT'S TO GET MINES BY WHATEVER WAYS I GOT'S TO" bullshit. Honesty and integrity are in most ways their own reward.

I agree and I do not condone those who do accuse others to justify criminal activities. I'm just saying I can see why, in our economically competitive culture, why some might turn to crime.

Let us not forget whole empires were built on crime (if one considers conquest of another nation's land and wealth a crime).

Mind you it is all done scientifically and tailored to each race's unique weaknesses. Its a very old system of destruction. Who knows how many unique and wonderful races of people that these mutant enemy warriors bent on the destruction of humanity have destroyed?

I'm just being realistic here. When there are mouths to feed ethics usually takes a back seat. Ethics is all very well when you have money in the bank but for those who don't it really is a dog eat dog world. Nothing is going to change that.
