Sadly, I think the boomers grew to be the most selfish and entitled pieces of shit to date. However, I kinda understand. No parent wants to see their children go through what they went through. But, feelings aside, they really need to. You have great-grandparents going through the great depression, then grandparents living through WWII. It was hell. We all want better for our kids, they just did it wrong.

Gen x people make much more devoted parents than baby Boomers in general. We were neglected as children and have tried very hard to inspire and provide emotional support our children. I have a great deal of hope for our children.

Most baby boomer grandparents don't really want to be bothered with their grandchildren anymore than a short period of time in which they can show off said grand progeny the redeposit them back in your care. Narcissism and childcare don't combine well.
