What if Earth is the most evoluted planet? | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 71628953 Canada 09/06/2016 02:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | After learning that the Native Americans were less evoluted than Europeans, I started wondering, what if Earth is the most evoluted right now, and nobody in the universe is capable to reach our planet, unless we will have the skills to contact them? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72932244 The point is that the native americans were in symbioses with the Earth, this is why they were not evolved as society. This means that evevry planet that is in symbioses with nature cannot achieve the progress that the schizophrenic white race did. The earth is definitely "evoluted", though some flat-earthers may dispute this. [link to www.wordplays.com] |

The Philosopher Stoned User ID: 72924210 United States 09/06/2016 03:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I agree with you, OP. I believe that life is common throughout the universe. But I also believe that intelligent life, or at least intelligent life that can do something with that intelligence (a la opposable thumbs versus flippers), is excessively rare. Given that the breakthroughs in science and technology we are about to make in the next few years, then decades, then centuries are going to bring us to such an advanced state that if other species on other planets had reached them, we'd know about it either via visitation or observation of changes to the physical universe, it seems highly unlikely that beings beyond us are out there. The fact that we are only a few ten or even hundred years from that in a universe that is somewhere in the neighborhood of 14 billion years old means that the likelihood of other more advanced life forms being out there is highly unlikely. Imagine where we'll be in 1 million years, which is 1/14 thousandth the age of the universe. A blip. If other capable intelligent life was out there, their signature would be visible and we would know. Therefore, it's highly likely we are the most technologically advanced lifeforms out there. |

I busted out a post full of thoughts. I'm sorry I didn't break them apart for you. I thought I was supporting you. Your breaks aren't right anyway. Everything fits together as part of the whole, so FU, it's just one paragraph. What an ass. Last Edited by The Philosopher Stoned on 09/06/2016 06:13 PM |
