You don't have to eat all that rabbit food anymore! Meat and spuds. Burgers and fries. Whopper with cheese. Hot dogs with chili! and an Eskimo PIE!!!! ugh, what BS. This post, however: "yes taking vitamins in pill form is a waste of money, you just piss it right out. unless you hold it all day and risk the chance of going septic." Food is medicine. |

Multivitamins don't provide some of the benefits inherent to vegetables. As far as cooking; rediscover the Slow Cooker. - Start with a nice roast (around $4 - $6). Sear the roast until brown on all sides - Add Beef bouillon(preferably not the cubed type, but the powdered: heat the bouillon and water mixture to a boil, then add Worcestershire sauce and a bit of baking soda to thicken the mixture then pour it into the slow cooker over the top of the seared roast) - Add carrots, celery, onions, potato's and spice to taste (onion powder not Onion salt, black pepper, Tomato bouillon if preferred, bay seasoning, etc...) - Profit . |

The source of your vitamins in veggies are natural and have a higher bioavailability (much more effective). I would do both. If you do take a multi, get one that's primarily plant based. |

Plus as people have said real vegetables provide more than just pure vitamins, they have other complex molecules that work in synergy in ways they don't even understand yet. |

In addition to the vitamins they contain fruits and vegetables also supply many other beneficial substances your body needs. An obvious example is dietary fiber which helps prevent the buildup of plaque in your arteries and keeps your bowels healthy and moving regularly. It guards against colon cancer among many other benefits. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 73199959 United States 10/16/2016 07:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I hate cooking vegetables with every meal. It's annoying. Sometimes i just want to eat the chicken on it's own with out vegetables. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4009113 Is the multivitamin a good replacement for vegetables? >> You should eat fresh organic fruits and veggies every day. If you don't, then a multivitamin is good as added insurance. Isn't this common sense though? I went on a 2-year eating binge but am coming out of it now after surgery 2 weeks ago. I just feel so much better eating clean and cutting out sugar. All common sense. |
