I thought they had been viewed. How can they reopen an investigation then if they have not seen anything yet.

It's a legal technicality.

They are authorized to obtain "Evidence" with regard to a criminal investigation related to a pedophile.

The "Warrant" they have, is to search for specific items related to a Pedophile, or related shit that would fall under a pedophile investigation.

They can not go Trolling for bank-fraud, or identity theft, or any other crimes like TREASON or National Security related Classified E-Mails.

So, even though this is what they found, if their "Warrant" does not specify these items, they can not legally be used as "Evidence".

So, they need to get a New Warrant, or get the Old Warrant modified. I don't think modification is possible.

It is a judge that issues a search warrant or refuses to issue one. If not judge "A", then judge "B", then "C", the "D", ...

The FBI has already looked at it long enough to reopen the investigation. Why now do they need the warrant? And from the justice department. Something smells.
