What a Trump victory means to me and my family [UPDATED]

Let's get personal for a second. Let's leave ideology aside, whether liberal, conservative, libertarian, or socialist.

I'm the breadwinner in my house. My wife just gave birth to a little girl - the little one's sleeping on my chest as I write this. I'm a legal alien in this great land, and will be applying for citizenship on the day Donald Trump in inaugurated.

Here's what a Trump victory means to me:

- According to Trump's tax plan, my Federal taxes will drop by about 35%. That means thousands of dollars more in my pocket every year, which I can save for my daughter's future, invest in a house, and use to better provide for my family.

- According to Trump's business and corporate tax plan, taxes on business will fall. This means lower costs on products I need for my family. This means savings for me.

- By slashing capital gains tax, Trump will encourage investment in the economy which means more jobs, more money, easier credit, and more prosperity for me and my family.

- In conjunction with his business and corporate tax plan, Trump wants to free up $50 trillion dollars worth of energy reserves. That means lower fuel costs to run my car, heat my house, and take my little girl on small camping trips, take her to the zoo, and so on. Further, by lowering the cost of energy for American business, that means even lower prices on daily necessities.

- The cost of my health insurance is set to rise over 100% next year. By ending Obamacare and opening insurance to interstate trade, premiums and costs will fall, which means it will be easier for me to take care of my family's health.

- By closing the border, the influx of criminals will stop, which means my little girl will grow up in a safer America. Will it be completely safe? Of course not. But it will go a long way toward helping.

- By supporting the police, Trump will help make the streets safer across America.

- By strongly supporting the second amendment, Trump will make our streets safer and will support me in protecting my home.

- By closing the border against millions of illegal immigrants, Trump will end the corporate welfare system that supplies low-wage working to big corporations. This means more jobs for Americans, more prosperity in America, and a better future for my little girl. It also means less welfare payments to illegal immigrant families, over 93% of which currently survive on welfare. That's money that comes out of my paycheck, money that I could use to feed and cloth my family.

- By naming our enemy - radical Islam - Trump will help our police and military to protect America and keep my family safe.

- By keeping our armed forces here, in America, rather than sending them around the world to bomb and fight asswipes who should be left to kill each other, Trump will lower the cost of governance and end the cycle of war that is bankrupting America and enslaving my daughter to debt.

These are just some of the things a Trump victory means to me. Now, I think Trump will win in a landslide. I'm not concerned about tomorrow's vote. I fully expect to be laughing tomorrow night over beer, whisky, and popcorn and Trump - as the American people - crush the liberal agenda for a generation. But it's easy to get caught up in the ideological debates - I certainly do. We should be clear. This is what Trump will do for me.
