I noticed something strange while studying ancient flood epics
The Sumerian-Akkadian term for " floodwaters " also means " disappearance of the moon "

It referred to New Moon, what the Jews call rosh chodesh

It's when the Moon is not visible

The ancients referred to the night sky as " the seas "

The " floodwaters " referred to the way the phases of the moon appeared to be the moon slowly submerging under waters that receded

Re: I noticed something strange while studying ancient flood epics
Note also then in the Enuma Elish, when Marduk creates the moon “ to mark out the days

Remember that the average synodic month length of the luni-solar calendar is the staple of the Mesopotamian calendars

" bubbulu " then refers to " rosh chodesh " which refers to the length of the synodic lunar month

The exact same period { bubbulu / rosh chodesh } is then known as the " molad " of the Jewish calendar

a " molad " is a birth { of the New Moon }

Who informs us of the New Moon ?

There was many floods since Atlantis sunk, and every floods erased human history.

Even Socrate record this about a high priest in Egypt mentioning this as well as Plato.

White race do not come from this World and should not share dangerous technologies with primitive tribal race.

Now they got hold of atomic technologies..

atlantis, lol

--------------

So, my studies into the mathematical astronomy of the Mesopotamian priesthoods revealed something peculiar about the flood epics

They use very specific notations for astronomy in the epics, special notations they only use for that purpose

Astronomy was part of the priesthoods

In the Bible, where the flood narrative starts, we find the first mention of the word " month " in the scriptures

But remember, a " month" is the same period defined as " bibbulu " { the flood }

should I go on ?

Well, if you live in the desert and enter a period when the stars and moon is invisible because of extensive cloud cover... It isn't a mystery, really.

I've got a rather large forum of my own, dealing specifically with Mesopotamian languages, mathematics of the priesthoods, comparative religion studies, etc

I basically broke down Newton's work on the Bible and mathematical astronomy and picked up where he gave up { a shame, he was on the verge of discovering something truly staggering }

I may register here on GLP { to be able to share }, just kind of hesitant with the random banning, don't want to get screwed out of my money for no reason

Oh, I'm sure the moon probably really disappeared and there was an actual biblical flood over the entire world. That's more likely.

You know this topic ties into the Book of Daniel ?

It also ties into the " days of Noah " and the Book of Revelation

have you heard this before ?

Re: I noticed something strange while studying ancient flood epics
Look:

Book of Daniel contains something called " Palmoni "

" The name Palmoni appears in the original Hebrew in the biblical book of Daniel.The still widely used King James Version of 1611 refers to Palmoni indirectly as "that certain saint" – "or," as a marginal note from the translators says, "the numberer of secrets, or, the wonderful numberer: Heb. Palmoni."

In Daniel 8:14, Palmoni identifies a period of 2,300 days before the cleansing of the sanctuary, an event evidently desired by the prophet Daniel, would take place.

According to the day-year principle of interpreting Biblical prophecy, 2,300 "days" would indicate 2,300 years. The Swiss astronomer Jean-Philippe de Cheseaux found, during his studies of chronology that if he took the period of 2,300 years and subtracted from it 1,260 years – a number referred to indirectly in Daniel as "a time and times and the dividing of time" (Dan. 7:25) or "a time, times, and a half" (Dan. 12:7), where a time is equal to 360, times are equal to 720 (2 x 360), and a half is equal to 180 (360/2) – he got 1,260 years, which proved to be, according to the 19th-century theological author Henry Grattan Guinness,

" the largest accurate soli-lunar cycle known."

The month of the luni-solar calendar is the " bubbulu " { synodic month length }

The Earth used to have rings like Saturn. The rings have waves moving through them. The Moon and the other planets appeared to be moving through a river in the sky.

When the mostly ice rings collapsed, it rained for forty days and forty nights.

That reminds me of in genesis it says when god made the sky he used the sky to "separate the waters " , as if there was a canopy of water that surrounded the atmosphere.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73377641

According to Zulu Sanusi Credo Mutwa a canopy of water did surround the Earth, which caused drizzle to continuously fall to Earth. Myself, I can't help but wonder if this water canopy was the result of a comet making a close pass of Earth, depositing an untold amount of ice, which floated in orbit, gradually melted, and fell to Earth. Perhaps this water caused the oceans to rise and claimed lots of dry land?

Remember when the Devil in the Garden of Eden had legs and walked on land? so does the Mushushu on the Gates of Ishtar, a Babylonian Dragon.

Then G-d cursed that dragon taking away his legs sending him back to the watery "depths" to become our fabled Sea Monster.

and don't forget that the Earth had already been destroyed and was "void" before the Genesis account :

"23I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

24I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved to and fro.

25I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

26I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all its cities were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger."

Jeremiah 4:23

also: Isaiah 14:16
"16They that see you shall gaze upon you, and consider you, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;"

its been a long journey, true the Earth is around 10,000 years old THIS time....we have seen these ELE's from Divine beings happen like clockwork:

Revelations 6:16
"16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:"

Whenever the "return" occurs, they hide deep in the ground, in space, on the moon, under the Oceans:

1. CERN
2. DUMB(S)
3. Seed Vault (monsanto preserves the reptilian DNA)

imho, this is a war of genes:

genesis 3:15
"15And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel"

Book of Revelation:

" signs in the sky " = eclipses and blood moons

you cannot predict eclipses and blood moons accurately without the " bubbulu ", ie the flood, ie the lunar synodic month length

You simply cant

And

666 and 144,000 are for deriving a dimensionless number used specifically in astronomy to describe an eclipse

am I just pissing in the wind here ?

Does anybody here even know what a dimensionless number is?
