The natives who lived in the Appalachian mountains were forcibly moved during the trail of tears. Their reservation is not better than where they came from. However the Navajo are on their ancestral land as well as some other tribes but to be fair there should be reservations on ancestral lands for all natives |

Just like you can't send blacks back to africa. You can't right the wrongs that were committed many many many generations ago, it's not possible. I'm not a libtard, i'm an extreme conservative, but I do know what is right and what is wrong. What was done to the indians is wrong no matter how you want to spin it. Mass genocide was commited against the indians back then, look up and read about the trail of tears and see what they went through. Horrific, vile and evil was done against them on a massive scale. And that is wrong........not only wrong, it was evil, pure evil. This isn't taught in the schools, this isn't talked about in america. This has been swept under the rug like it never even happened because it's not nice, it's not happy and we don't want to talk about it. It's much nicer to talk about the pilgrims and the indians around a thanksgiving table and ignore the atrocities that happened. No, it is not our fault, we didn't do it. None of us were alive then. But, it is our obligation to tell the truth even if the truth isn't nice. I do not participate in thanksgiving for this reason...because to me, it's all a lie. |

They are a wonderful people for whom I have the utmost respect. To this day they are abused by the Bureau of Indian Affairs. Many are abused by their own tribal councils. They deserve better. BTW, I'm a staunch hard-right Republican. |

History of the human race folks. Every nation has been built on someone else's back. The blacks, Asians, Indians, etc.. are as bad as everyone else. I never believed that BS about how evil the white man is. Fact is, the entire human race is collectively fucked in the head. AMERICAN EXCEPTIONALISM: KICKING ASS, KILLING NAZIS, KILLING COMMIES, MAKING BABIES, BUILDING CITIES, EXPLORING SPACE, GOING TO THE MOON, AND PUTTING THE "CIVIL" IN CIVILIZATION SINCE 1776! ****************************** But I tell you this man, I tell you this, I carry an aura of "fuck you" everywhere I go and while I may not cause scenes I can sure as hell continue them and escalate them but good. ****************************** There is going to be a second revolution folks. Count on it - and it will be the citizens against the government. It will be damn bloody. It will be a war of attrition. It will result in over 100 million dead. The heavy handedness of the government - the fascists in code enforcement and animal control especially - have brought this upon themselves. |
