The classic way. So delicious! Is that how you fried them, just with butter and salt? Real butter a touch of olive oil so the butter doesn't burn, a touch of pepper and Himalayan salt. (Arrah Shite, I'll be looking again in the morning for MORE now!) I found Field Mushrooms....years ago... and placed them Gills down on a napkin to allow the spores to go into the napkin. I cut it up into tiny pieces and buried them beside an old tree.. a Sceach (Hawthorn). Lo and behold here they are a little while later. Now you can do that with any of you favourites. Morels are nice but I don't use Wood chips in my garden as they blow away. (Morels prefer wood chip) but anyone can do this with any of your favourites. That is really cool. I haven't had any time, as usual. I've been working as much as possible since we are so screwed on funds. My sister, the psychic-medium-obsessed recipient of three of the 4 tickets (I'm going too ... it's a work-owned box suite, so I have to or risk unleashing my unsupervised sister and her friends on my colleagues) ... my sister is over the moon and praying that Theresa decides to go to the boxes this time, lol. I'm going to get busy the next few days doing some spiritual work to help my cause ... I was so slammed getting the legal pieces together I haven't had any time to take care of that side of things. I know you told me it could take up to a month of work, Merit, but I couldn't get it done before now with the kids around and the practical things I had to do. Hopefully it will be good enough. He is soft anf warm and he smells nice. We watched Law and Order and napped all weekend. I'm headed over there after i get some chores done. Mom and sis are all hyped up about TC. I'm looking forward to the $20 quarts of yuengling and getting to sleep in the captains seats both ways. They are praying to Daddy. Weird thing happened today ... went to Walmart without my chicken foot ... the farther Walmart, mind you ... and ran in to my sister (also the farther Walmart) in housewares then was I'm checking out, I hear "Jenny" and there's mom (also farther Walmart for her) at the other register. She didn't know sis was there ...they came separately ... and we were all 15-25 miles from home... "Is your thing tomorrow?" "yeah ma" "Your sister is so excited." "She should not get her hopes up, we're in a sky box." "It's ok. I've been praying with Padre Pio, and Daddy's going to holler the loudest." Then off she went.
