People investing into house security massively. It depends a little bit, if there are a lot of refugees in the area or not.

You guys in Europe REALLY need to organize and establish an arms and ammo supply route, out of Eastern Europe for example. Illegal, yes, but what other options do you have to protect yourselves. My father was an Army officer in France when the Russians built the Berlin Wall. He served with another officer who had been a POW in World War II, held by the Germans. He said they treated him extremely well. They were respectful, never abused him, and even provided him with a valet.

The only thing they couldn't understand was why we were fighting THEM? Couldn't we see that Communism was the real enemy?

I'm sure his captors were Wehrmacht, not SS or Gestapo, and he probably didn't have any critical information they needed - I have no illusion about a German POW camp being a notch above a Holiday Inn Express, but the thing that impressed my Dad's fellow officer most was how mystified they were that we were on different sides of the fight.
