Some of it is handlers, some of it is from insider trading, some of it is from speeches. Multiple income streams. Don't you ever wonder who buys their crappy books? Well, some corporation can snap up a bunch, then just destroy or warehouse the actual books. Meanwhile, the politician gets an indirect payment from that corporation for favors delivered. So that's another source of income. I bet they just get given some stuff too. To curry favor. |
