Short periods of time..but even then it is narrow strip that is truly accessible.I'm sure it is breathtaking. Deeper..there are almost constant Hurricane force winds that have like -40 and more Celsius temperature. We simply have no technology not like mass technology to deal with it. Depends where you are but in the summer months it can be +6 It is large Continent. We all know which parts are accessible. I watched Metallica gig over there. :) Deeper..really only handful of people managed. I'm sure satellites mapped it. But to go there in person, takes logistics and technology as going to the moon. You can fly in from Christchurch, C- 130, thousands of people work down there. What is your point? You have people in Sahara too. Go walk there deep into it on your own? Good Luck. |

With that Wind..You can not have one single peace of your body uncovered. You would burn in second..cold burn. You can not breath that air.Too cold. Most of machinery can not work. Planes would go down, choppers too... Be sure if it was accessible corporations would be all over that place. hahaha... sorry you're wrong. There are thousands of people working there. And tourist trips there. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 72299469 Netherlands 12/05/2016 09:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A Unique Natural Laboratory Antarctica is a huge continent, covering 14 million square kilometres or 10 percent of the Earth's land area. It influences an even greater area - extending beyond the equator - in the form of cold air, water currents and migratory sea birds and marine mammals. With an average elevation of 2300 metres, Antarctica is the highest and driest of all continents. It is also the coldest - the average annual temperature at the South Pole is -49° Celsius. Ralphyboy User ID: 71645235 United States 12/05/2016 11:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am calling BULLSHIT. You can go to yravel to Antarctica via tour packages. Google's helpful.... You cannot just go there by yourself. You are taken there (to specific locations) and restricted to a guided tour (not allowed to explore on your own). You can go to the Google campus too. But you cannot explore it on your own. You have no access to the offices. It is a restricted tour. That's all well and good. The topic is you can't go. Not that you can not go to all of it. That' Op's stance is you cant go. Google says you can. So....uhm, yeah. Ralphyboy |

Quoting: Salt and my hunch is there is a couple things going on, but one of them has to do with climate change agenda there is some enormous value in taking antarctica now and i wonder if they convince us of catastrophic climate change while terra-forming that area for habitation for the elite either above ground or under we know there are several bases there something is going on and its global and its gonna affect everyone i wouldnt put it past kerry and them using certain photos to convince the world of climate change or just maybe, climate change has more truth to it than many of us wanna accept dunno. check out these images [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] Ok so after some searching these photos are in fact from Antarctica. I haven't found the boat yet, but I did find that little red and black shack. It's British Base A, built in 1958 which is now used as a storage shed. It's located at historic site #61 which is in Port Lockroy. |
