Agreed OP. You named the best gods, I love them.

You admittedly walk in Christ. He was honest, kind, level headed, and many more things which I am sure you are also. A true Christian tries their best to live like this and love others without simply being a doormat for people to exploit. Religion is NOT what Christ followers are about.

And it makes me sad that there's not one Christian whom you like. I don't like being unliked :)

Also, I understand why you feel that religion and God aren't for you. The rules, pressure to be perfect, consequences, control, submissiveness, etc. make it very hard to want to believe in or participate in such a thing. There are many ugly people out there hiding behind all religions.

For Mark, Jesus was adopted to be God’s son at his baptism. Before that, he was a mere mortal.

For Luke, Jesus was conceived by God and so was literally God’s son, from the point of his conception. (In Luke Jesus did not exist *prior* to that conception to the virgin – his conception is when he came into existence).

For John, Jesus was a pre-existent divine being – the Word of God who was both with God and was God at the beginning of all things – who became a human. Here he is not born of a virgin and he is not adopted by God at the baptism (neither event is narrated in John – and could not be, given, John’s Christology).



Christians just want to quote the Gospel of John, because it is where the fraud really starts...

don't even get me started on the OT and The Canaanite God El, and the 3 different versions of Yahweh that Israel has had over the years, Christians want to lie and tell you that there is only one God in the OT, what about El?
what about the Yahweh that is second in command to El? what about the Yahweh that is one of many Gods and is married? the Yahweh that Christians claim today is the newest of the 3 different Yahweh.

That's something Thor, Odin or Zeus could never do, that Christ could- even with all his power. The power of influence is far greater than force, hence why Christ is still followed and respected till this day and the other three are mostly forgotten.

God knows himself: God attains self-knowledge, God thinks the concept of God, God says the word of God, God makes an image and likeness of himself, God begets the Son.

People who don't love God are destroyed not tortured forever.
God is glorified in the destruction of those who do not love him.
The only people who love God are those that he loved first and called to himself.
The only difference between those who love God and those who hate God is the grace he gives them.
If you hate God...no problem...you are just playing your role...make sure to enjoy your life to the fullest...because this is what you get.
