" I am your advocate."

While praying about ongoing pressure, emptiness, and despair in my current employment, I heard the statement above.

It sounded in my mind before I finished my request, "God, I need an advocate." The timing was such that we said "advocate" almost simultaneously. The Speaker knew my words before I finished them.

It was firm and blunt, yet not impatient or angry. The "I" was emphasized.

For God did not send His Son {Jesus} into the world to

condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be

saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who

does not believe is condemned already, because he has not

believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

GOD is saying the "batman" internal cyber prayer (in tongues) in tandem with the Spirit is not acceptable but neither is the outward prayer led by a fallen spirit in the form of a homeless man named "pastor bob".

Bob is slang for satan and this guy kept his left eye closed when I was talking to him. Actually I knew him in time when he was younger. Yes...sometimes you see people at various points in time regarding their life in the Spirit. I don't know exactly what it is.

A few question for OP. I don't mean to attack, but I would like some clarification on the two issues below.

What happened with all the predictions about Obama and Biden?

Why where the subject lines of your 9/11/15 and 7/9/16 changed, OP?

Blessings.

Amen, true! All week, events and others' statements continually remind me and exuhpand upon the "I am your advocate" moment. When I pray and ask to experience His advocacy, a sense of peace eventually manifests. Praying to walk in that peace.

Wow, so true and so amazing. If PA is reading, I feel this word is also for you: He is your Advocate, our Advocate!

I've sporadically prayed, "Please help me experience Your advocacy" or similar. Praise God, it's as if 10 years of dullness, hardheartedness, and confusion has almost entirely left me--and I have begun to believe it's possible to walk mostly in peace and joy. It hasn't yet been perfect peace experientially, but I'm on my way, praise Lord Jesus.

At church, without any intention on my part, I FELT the presence of the Holy Spirit during worship. Nothing quite describes it, but it was like a tangible vibration in the air.

For a moment, it felt as if I were standing about knee-deep in rushing water with fellow worshippers, except not wet; maybe like it would feel to stand in a room-temperature rushing river while wearing waders.

Most interesting to me is, it was no big deal. Like the few other Holy Spirit moments I've experienced, it was simple and not the least bit eery, but real and pleasant.

I did not, and do not, chase "experiences," so it was a pleasant surprise.

Cool experience. Isn't it interesting the different ways the holy spirit manifests himself to us? Years ago my dad actually experienced the holy spirit in the form of a driving wind. He became frozen in place with his gaze locked on this woman and she was looking at him too, then he heard a great rushing wind around him (even though he was indoors) and then the holy spirit flowed through him and into this woman, who was healed. He reported that she was normally very depressed whenever he saw her, but when he saw her later after this experience she was very happy. The lord revealed to him that she had suffered emotional abuse earlier in her life so that is where the healing occurred.

Praise God! I believe the Holy Spirit can manifest Himself in different ways to different people. I've gone into churches & chapels and felt like there was an electrical charge in the air. I've gone into other places and the atmosphere is very peaceful... like the peace envelops you. For many years i can sometimes feel an anointing whether in prayer or sharing the gospel. God the Holy Spirit does make His presence known when we are thirsty for it. If you have no idea of what i am talking about go to a "Life in the Spirit" seminar and pray for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit or get a bunch of Pentecostals to pray and "Lay Hands" on you. Again, if you are thirsty, Jesus will fill you!

Re: 2018 {page 11} & 2017 --> What Do You Believe God Is Saying In Your Prayer Time? Please share!
Testimony Time: Hi Gang!
I've been really super busy lately with the usual church stuff and people getting sick, hospitalized & then passing away. It makes a busy time that much busier. I'm selfishly praying this week is a little slower although i have to leave in 5-10 to do a bible study for some boy scouts!
Anyway, what hasn't changed in my prayer is this: I'm still hearing about the elimination of 44 just as i have been describing. After that, we will all hear the drums of war being beat over & over and, yes, the Nuclear Trigger will be pulled and the missiles will begin to fly. So, none of that will change.
What I'm excited about today - and why i wanted to find time to type - is that recently in my prayer time i heard the words: "Support her." Now, I don't know yet what that means but I was excited to learn this morning that Laura Ingram is thinking about runner for the Virginia Senate. That is especially exciting for me because - not only is she an intelligent, holy, strong Republican woman but also because i live in Virginia. We are tired of these hypocrites who say "I'm against abortion" but I'm also going to give the 'green light' for any woman woman & her doctor to slaughter her baby for any reason at any time. We need repentance, a return to church, & to vote pro life to prolong the future of the USA. If we are not going to protect life the Lord Jesus will NOT have a purpose for this nation moving forward. Yes, it IS that important!

So, again, I don't know what those words mean yet, but it will be interesting to see what happens in Virginia for 2018. As usual, I will be "Watching" & "Praying."

May the Lord Jesus keep you all in His peace.

I've come to believe God is always speaking to me, yet I must be silent in my heart before I hear it and can believe it's His voice.

Praying to overcome my tendency to busy my mind with minutia and fruitless reading. This thread has underscored the need to invest time wisely.

Yes, and Time & Experience will be a Teacher to you regarding if God was speaking or not. Often times, His Voice is but a whisper & if WE are too loud we just can't hear Him.

But, as always, we should not let our hearts be troubled
& we should rest in His peace!

The "Emergent Themes" I've concluded over the years are still in play. I must admit, things are taking longer to play out than i originally thought but what i was hearing on the inside of me i'm still hearing. I posted "Hang in there" for a couple of reasons. First, it reminds me of "Be strong" & "Be of good courage." Those are Words God used in Holy Scripture - as you know - to strengthen people... and those Words do give me strength. Secondly - a brief testimony - i heard those Words when i was watching a 'Star Wars' movie with my teenagers. I heard the Words Hang in there & then immediately one of the main heroes was pushed off the edge of a huge chasm & the character had to cling to the ledge for her very life! So, i was amazed that The Word came to me & then this person had to Hang On until they were rescued by a friend. But, that is Sometimes how God speaks to me. He Speaks & It Immediately happens at times And Then other times i wait for years for The Word to be fulfilled.

May the Lord Jesus keep you in His peace hf

The Results of the Monster Earthquake are still here

Remember, I Said Everything is going to collapse

You're going to hear the drum beat

The assassination is soon

Hang in there!

Thank you for reminding me that God often (usually) speaks subtly. It reminds me of polite conversation, where the speaker continues only if the listener demonstrates keen interest.

I think I've experienced similar fulfillment. One that is almost too silly to share: Driving to church, I spontaneously pictured and recalled the title of a rock group's album from over 30 years ago. When church service started, the new sermon series had the same title. I had no idea of the title in advance.
