Yes! Have worked in corp America for 30 years. I'm very grateful for the job and make a lot of money...I'm better off than most so I feel guilty for being so meh about the job.

I'm working on the exit. Bought land, building structure this spring, then need to figure out how to earn a few bucks so I can spend the day tending chickens, growing stuff, etc. Maybe I'll do some consulting work or something. But yeah, I can find no fucks to give so I need to get something else going.

And my body felt like it was falling apart. So I started working out early in the morning (at gym by 5:30) ... and that's renewed my energy and my strength, which the desk job was draining out of me. By my mid-30s, I felt like I was in my late 50s. Now that I started working out (I'm 49 now), I feel like I'm somewhere in the 30s and hopefully will continue feeling better. Took me about a year of disciplined working out -- forcing myself to get up EVERY morning at 4:30.

Started out with one of the first computers and loved it. It shaped my life. Today, I also loathe them. Not because I am old and don't understand new things but because I am smart and understand what modern technology has turned into....a corp/gov spy machine that they actually get sheep to pay for. That is like going to the electric chair but getting billed for the electricity a month before they throw the switch.

so you run on a treadmill everyday in a gym....

then go sit at your desk and use your mouse.... and your stoked?
