The Baltic countries, Poland or Finland for that matter have no interest in "pounding Russia to pulp". All we want is to live in peace as sovereign nations with Russia respecting that. However, Putin's Russia seems to have problems with that. For instance, flagrant violations of our airspace, all kinds of pressure to coerce us to conduct the kind of foreign and domestic politics Russia likes.

Our militaries are not positioned or equipped for wars of conquest. For instance, our strategy is fighting withdrawal and then dispersion of forces for asymmetrical warfare. And that's only if the Russians start a fight.
