[link to www.salon.com] WASHINGTON – The Republican chairman of the House Oversight Committee, who has refused Democratic requests to investigate possible conflicts of interest involving President Donald Trump, is seeking criminal charges against a former State Department employee who helped set up Hillary Clinton's private email server. Rep. Chaffetz of Utah sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions on Thursday asking him to convene a grand jury or charge Bryan Pagliano, the computer specialist who helped establish Clinton's server while she was secretary of state. Pagliano did not comply with two subpoenas ordering him to appear before the oversight panel. The GOP-led committee later voted to hold him in contempt of Congress. He's basically going to redo the whole investigation and force everyone who didn't testify the first time to do it this time. Prosecuting HRC's tech guy thst set up the server. A lot of ppl seem to be confused with what happened the first time. The FBI can not indict/file charges. They can only bring their information to the DOJ and recommend an indictment. Even if they had cankles dead to rights breaking the law technically they can't do anything if the DOJ won't take action. The DOJ is not supposed to really deny the FBI, they are supposed to work together but technically they can just refuse to investigate by telling the FBI their evidence is insufficient with a straight face. That is what happened when obama was in office. Now it appears the plan is to build a case a piece at a time and let the libs see they can't protect their ppl anymore as they get convicted one by one. Funny enough, if the DOJ had brought charges and started the legal process, and used their corrupt system to clear HRC, then none of this would be possible from double jeopardy. Since they ignored everything, then it's all up for grabs now. Like you said, they will work their way up from the small fish until HRC and others are unambiguously implicated. |
