Technology, specially if used to replace human labor or to dumb people, is leading to the extinction of society in the next years.

Think about 2 billion jobs (low skill) to vanish in 5-6 years, and 3 billion people unable to think by themselves to serve in the society who only seek instant gratifications with no moral values (smartphones).

Look, we are still breeding, with population growing almost 2% each year, worldwide! It doesn't make sense, unless we are going to eat one to each other (Charlton Heston movie of the '70s).

This might very well be the case, but, if they impose a tax on robot work, we could still end up in a Wall-e scenario.

From what I see in the trenches, they got a long way to go.
We got several robot forklifts for the factory floor. I haven't seen one work in days. They just lazily putter around doing nothing. Except sucking up electricity from the induction charging stations. I think they are learning from the salary workers.
