Well, I have to agree that I think this is not the biblical "mark", however it does seem to be a brilliant infrastructure for the mark.

Like you have to actually commit the "sin of idolatry" (1st commandment) in order to get the injectable computer placed, but they can build the entire network and BioAPI as he calls it without permission. I say this about committing the sin because he says it... not that I know anything about the BioAPI as he calls it. But... that taking the mark is definitely a sin. It is a violation of the first commandment, etc.
