I was thinking yesterday about a tarantula I bought my brother-in-law for a present, mainly just playing with him,aka a joke, his son wanted it. I wanted to know why and how that tarantula all on its on would separate the colors of tiny stone in its aquarium. It would put all of the colors in their place, with each color separated from the other colors. I was searching for that yesterday evening on the web. I know physically how it did it but not the why it would do it. It was a fun pet to get to know. We got mice not thinking we got two and then they made babies. It was amazing, to see a little tiny one, run into the danger of my hand coming down into their safe space, to drag its little baby sibling off to a safe corner with it. The little baby one was not from the other little ones litter. It came like the motto leave none behind to take care of its own. I really gained respect for it and them after seeing that. It changed the way I saw them. Last Edited by Wondering Mind on 03/30/2017 06:12 PM The most precious things are the simple things in life, always present in the simplest of minds. |

Deplorable Desert Dude User ID: 74427348 United States 03/30/2017 10:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Bees get in my face a lot for some reason. I guess they like my looks. :D Just today one flew right at me as I was walking in a parking lot. It was like a missile coming straight at my face. I ducked quickly at the last second as it flew by. I guess I was in the way of it's predetermined flight path. One time a carpenter bee (big as a bumble bee) got eye to eye with me. It hovered for a few seconds looking at me. STARING CONTEST. Then it flipped a U and went into it's hole in the wall. I guess it was making an assessment on if I posed a threat. Anyway, 5* post, OP. Yeah I did it, and it can't be undone. |
