ESA DE, are you a native English speaker?

What's your best comparative analogy of a "tsunami" from outer space?

Is something like this related to the earthquake/tsunami that hit Indonesia a couple years ago? The seismic history in that particular location didn't correlate with what ended up as the second greatest earthquake on record.

I can't tell you which nationality I am because that would definitely identify me.

Although the ESA does not specialise in seismic phenomena, few of my colleagues believe that the December 2005 Tsunami was natural. It has been established that the plate shift alone cannot account for the scale of the tsunami.

"Tsunami" is the term that everyone is using right now. It assumes that there has been some sort of "tectonic shift" in space, although we have no evidence that anything of the sort has occured that relates directly to this band of energy.

However, it best fits the description of what we can expect to see here as from the first week in March.
