He's disciplining her for taking some of the steam out of the anti-Trump agenda. They can't give Trump any favorable media attention. Not even lukewarm attention. It has to be brutal attack after brutal attack.

She broke the story for an exclusive; she wanted to have people tune in to boost her ratings. She failed to put the needs of her overlords first and instead put her own first and ran the story. This is not permitted.
