Seriously... care to guess how much are my medical bills are every single day?

I am in my early 50's. Serious health issues with the most significant being that I am resistant to just about all anti-biotics. As a result, I go to the hospital every single day, 7 days a week, for IV injections.

If I had to describe myself, I am project manager... it is in my blood. I have always rated my day on how much I accomplished. For many years.... decades, I could honestly say that I contributed to society. It is how I have valued myself.

Not so much anymore, now that I am disabled and require so much medical care that it has become a full-time job just to stay alive. I do have two teenage kids, and my relationship with them over the last few years has been wonderful and I hope I am able to provide value to them now, and that it will have a positive impact for the rest of their lives. But that is about it.

Back to the question... want to take a guess on how much it costs every single day -- to keep me alive, and how much is too much?

Yeah... I tried that about 6 months ago. Refused treatment. Came home and went to bed. My wife dialed 911. Cops came -- took 8 of them -- but they hauled me off, and I got the treatment they wanted me to have and a bunch more.

They got this shit called green drink... Spirulina. Wheat grass. Chlorella.
Vitamins and minerals.
& a produce section.

Might save u almost 11k a month.

Why do you have a chronic infection? Is it from an implant or something?

I do pray you get off the antibiotics soon and have a full recovery.

I had at least 5 put in over the last 16 months. The last one led to a major infection in my arm and was pulled a few days after it went in. The one before that only worked for a few weeks. They can keep a regular iv in me for a week then pull it and give me a break for 24 hours. The hassle of pulling and waiting a week to get a new one scheduled requires an iv line while I wait anyway.

If I get through this I may try the permanent port line that goes into the chest.

Other than a few bouts with Lyme disease in the early 90s I had not been sick until I moved to the Philippines. It was there that I was seriously injured and in a very dirty environment for several days before I could get medical help. Started getting infections then, including chronic osteomyelitis. That was 15 years ago and I have been battling infections ever since.
