In the summer of 2009, my computers, both home and work, were the target of MILLIONS of cyber attacks. I assumed I had written something online that pissed off the Chicoms or something.

Finally, my Geek told me, "I can't fix your computers. They are fried".

I had to replace over $2500 in computers and software as well as use backups to recover my data.

A couple of months later, I went to a local Tea Party meeting. Afterwards, I was chatting with the local leaders, about ten people, some of whom you saw on the news when the IRS, EPA, ATF, et al went after them.

I mentioned my problem with the cyber attacks.

They all were targeted at exactly the same time as I was!

2009! I am telling you a spook followed me from my house to a store with a "file" in his hand and "bumped" into me physically. I was like WTF? Then I realized I was being targeted for something I wrote online. Long story but my computer was unsavageable in 2009. Same thing. It was hands down the creepiest thing that has ever happened to me.
