I would cup him in my hand and he would relax his back into my palm. Then our game began! I would close one eye and he would mirror that action back to me over and over. We did this all the time. We were communicating with each other and we both knew it! He also liked to stretch his head back in my palm while I stroked his throat and the area under his mouth. He was the sweetest lizard I've ever known. Quoting: Pandora Petal Cool! |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 70334001 United States 05/16/2017 02:23 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Awesome to see - MOAR of this please, humans. I came across two snakes yesterday, sadly they were run over by vehicles in the road, the only two seen so far this year, and dead by mankind. One was the same type of snake as in this video and the other another harmless snake. Add to that, the tally of three desert tortoises in the last two weeks also hit by cars crossing the road...ugh, where do I begin? Not sure how someone couldn't see a desert tortoise in a road, but when you are taking selfies to document the family vacation, I suppose it could be possible. It would be like driving over a huge rock or boulder on asphalt? I guess the Lexus could manage... Just be mindful when you are driving. |

Who just happens to have syringes with water to feed random snakes with as they're driving along in the middle of the desert ? I say he knew the snake and that's why it was so responsive. |

Quoting: a Dude, not THE Dude The snake was thinking, "Hey bro, can you give me a lift?" "It's great that you gave me water, but have you seen it out here? I could use a lift to an oasis or something, man." |

Many other species are welcome, but reptiles must remain, as they are and evolve on their own or die out. You shouldn't even have them as pets, since domestication will ensue and afford them an opportunity to parasitically infest our future. This is one area where people's sympathies are confused. Science is going to make a huge blunder sure to be of deep and lasting regret, when they play up to the cult-like insistence of people that we should somehow employ them outside of nature. They always end up as some, terrible, shitty example of humanoids, that aren't worth the price of disposal, let alone the trouble they cause with their incomprehensible, low-grade nuances which provoke conflict as their needs and habitat produce an unacceptable environment for intermingled diversity, and conflict with the destiny of lifeforms, for which the Universe was created. They fail at sentience as incompatible with regular evolved, warm blooded creatures. It's trouble enough dealing with the errors of the past, and the ones that we're mistakenly boosted and became problematic, while their conversion-to-compatibility post artificial evolution options, are few and chances slim. Their likely to end up being diverted to Negative Universe, as a place where they will be able to prosper with their insensitive nature. I made this up on my own and only apologize to any good natured reptiliods who's feelings might be hurt by my sentiment, as there may be some who are respectable, though I imagine being the rare exception to the rule. |

Loup Garou User ID: 70542928 United States 05/18/2017 10:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | THE FARMER AND THE SNAKE A Farmer walked through his field one cold winter morning. On the ground lay a Snake, stiff and frozen with the cold. The Farmer knew how deadly the Snake could be, and yet he picked it up and put it in his bosom to warm it back to life. The Snake soon revived, and when it had enough strength, bit the man who had been so kind to it. The bite was deadly and the Farmer felt that he must die. As he drew his last breath, he said to those standing around: Learn from my fate not to take pity on a scoundrel.
