I think more along the lines that this is where history was buried/veiled. History is propaganda, for the most-part. But I think the spokes lined up there and connect with most the others. The most coveted war booty is gold and knowledge. Like with Alexander, who never had a library until conquering Asher, and then suddenly he had the biggest one ever until Banipol kicked his assyria. I doubt the library of Asher has ever been fully deciphered. |

Many religions lasted longer and had more followers but the Romans killed off most of them by force to create and support the catholic church. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 74852947 OK, please give an example of a religion which did NOT originate in the Middle East or in India, which was killed off by the Romans to create and support the Catholic Church, and which, according to you, would otherwise have become a World Religion. |

Becuase it's where civilizations lived. Exactly. It was those civilizations which had a civilizing influence - Judaism, Christianity, Islam - mainly to the West; and Buddhism, mainly to the East. |

The very first one, which I believe to be truism Ancestor worship "Our father who art in heaven" One which tptb don't even want you to acknowledge. If your awareness doesn't deceive you..... Who made you?..... |

The Anunnaki provided the idea of "Religion" as a means for Humans to manage themselves. Humans have expanded the original idea by continuously inventing new variations on the theme. Also, the Anunnaki enjoy being worshiped. (My researched opinion). Last Edited by CK722 on 05/19/2017 05:10 PM |

It's for the brownies. “Do not proffer sympathy to the mentally ill; it is a bottomless pit. Tell them firmly, 'I am not paid to listen to this drivel — you are a terminal fool!'” -William S. So i wonder, what would happen if the Roman Empire hadnt embrassed Christianity. I quote "AD 313, the Emperor Constantine made Christianity legal and for the first time, they were allowed to openly worship. Churches were quickly built not just in Rome but throughout the empire. In AD 391, the worship of other gods was made illegal." So in 78 years we have Christianity the formal (and only) religion of the whole empire. Also to mention that the Roman Empire split in 395 AD, that is 4 years later. Ostria |
