Alphas don't cause situations, they prevent them or solve them. Alphas don't bully - they inspire and persuade. An alpha can be a "tough guy" if he runs with a tough crowd... or the smartest guy in a room of smart guys... or a magnate among businessmen. Regardless, whatever circle he has chosen to run in, he leads by example and commands respect by virtue of what he accomplishes... not by who he threatens. He succeeds by handling what he knows... and knowing what he can handle. He's not worried that someone will strip his crown. He's out there every day doing what he does best and excelling at it. He may not even be aware that he is an Alpha until someone points it out... it's not about who he can boss around, it's about making things go right, whatever that takes. What do women look for? There are as many answers to that as there are women. One gal will want a muscle man. Another will go for the brainy type who not only knows the answers, but how to use them to good effect. Still others will flock to the guy with the status car/clothes who everybody gets quiet when someone asks his investment advice. That depends on what values they grew up with in their culture of origin. If your idea of being "alpha" is being able to boss everyone around and be treated like a king because people are afraid of you... you've really missed the whole point. |
